| Renting a private small semi furnished bedroom in a fully furnished basement suite. Will be sharing kitchen and bathroom. Located on the border of Queen Alexandra and Allendale (70 Ave and 105A Street). It has almost everything you need, except a bed (this can be worked out). Clean, comfortable and well-maintained home. Beautifully landscaped with a firepit. Includes laundry and internet. Walking distance to UofA Hospital (38mins walk, 23mins bus) Whyte Ave (20mins walk, 10mins on bus #701) and River Valley based on Kinsmen Rec Center location (40mins walk, 19mins on bus #701). Close proximity to Southgate Mall (38mins walk, 21mins on bus #701). Bus stop for the #701 is a block away and 4 blocks away from the #9 bus. Asking $500/month for short term, summer months. Utilities and internet included. Plenty of free parking available on the street. 20mins walk to No Frills or Save-on-Food. It is a quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. The house is shared with 2 other individuals who have their own separate units. Separate from the unit you would be in. House is divided into 3 rental units. Basement (us), main floor tenant with their own entrance, attic unit separate but we share a main entrance. The room is cool, so shouldn’t need air conditioner or fan. There is a mattrass in the garage but unsure of condition but this can be worked out. The ideal candidate will be quiet, responsible, respectful of the others in the house, and clean. A student attending UofA for the summer would be ideal. I am a fairly easy-going mature male in his 50s (gay if that matters to you). I am home more often than not and quiet. Comfortable doing the main cleaning of the unit but please be respectful and not take advantage of this. No dishwasher and will be expected to clean up after yourself, especially in kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable sharing general groceries but you will have a place for your non-shared items.
