| Hello! I’m a single mom recently out of separation. My 3 year old son and I have moved back to the city and I am rebuilding my life. That being said, my credit score is less than ideal as a result of the breakdown in relationship. It has already increased 30 points since our split, and I intend to rebuild it. I work in children’s programming and will be starting a city job next week. I am also in the process of returning to school for business in the autumn. I’ve been couch crashing with a friend in her 1 bedroom unit and as much I love her, I feel it’s well over the time to give her her space back. We are fairly quiet. I don’t party and rarely ever drink. My son is usually sleeping by 830, after which time I like to read or work on projects (I’m writing a novel currently, but I also like to bake and make art). We are currently in search of a 2 bedroom unit (or 1bed with a den). Budget is $1400 including utilities. The unit should have a bathtub and laundry on site. Ideally, we would like to be located in the westmount/woodcroft, downtown/oliver, or Bonnie soon/strathearn area. Looking to move in ASAP as I start work on the 24th. I have lots of skills that I would be open to trading as well. Particularly, I have experience in residential cleaning and would be open to trading the move out clean for your unit in exchange for cheaper rent/utilities/deposit or to get into the unit quicker. I also have experience in hairstyling, makeup artistry, tarot, gourmet baking. We are hoping to find a home we can stay in long term and would love to have an open and respectful relationship with our landlord. I believe that things work best when everyone works together.
