**Please read to the end** Hi everyone! "The Wellness Haus" will have 1 room opening up for May 1st. Home is furnished so it's an easy one to jump into if you don’t have much furniture. Looking for someone who is sustainably minded, creative, mature, and with a desire to keep the shared spaces clean. Located in Hazeldean, this new 3 bed + den, 2.5 bath infill duplex backs onto an off-leash dog park that takes you straight onto the dreamy Mill Creek Ravine less than a 5-minute walk away. Common Areas The main floor hosts an open modern kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a long breakfast bar. The living room area is off the main entrance and has space for a meditation/yoga/movement area setup. Dining area is just beyond the kitchen by the back door. Also included on this level is the laundry, a half bath, and small den currently being used as a study/art space. No access to the basement (separate suite). The second floor holds 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Outdoors Fully fenced small yard and private deck area overlooking the off-leash dog park. There's a garage that can be used for storage, we can rotate parking as needed. There is plenty of street parking out front. Room Opening Minimum 6 months lease (May 2021-October 2021). Rent includes all utilities, wifi, and common household needs fund. Damage deposit is equal to 1 month's rent. • Unfurnished bedroom with a decent sized closet, sharing a full bath w/ bathtub with the other room. $550-650. Small den is currently being used as a work-from-home space. It can be set up as a shared office and rent adjusted to be fair to all in the house depending on the use. Ideally shared between 2 people max. Values & Policies • LGBTQIA2S+ ally is a must. • Anti-racist, pro BLM, pro ILM is a must. • No cats unfortunately, but medium to small dogs could be allowed (with landlord's approval). • No smoking, drugs, or heavy drinking. Cannabis is cool as long as it's smoked outside. But if you're going to be high allll the time we probably won't be a super great fit. • Covid aware, willing to stick to the rules. No anti-maskers or anti-vaxers. • Open communication. • Artist, musicians, creatives welcome - lots of space to create in! • Looking for more than just to fill up rooms - you must be willing to co-create community and be an active member of it! About Housemates -Cecile: (26) queer, working from home full time. She enjoys walks in the ravine, yoga, cooking delicious meals, music, game nights, and mountain adventures. She is into fostering meaningful connections with others, creating community, and learning about permaculture. Cecile also plays guitar once in a while and would love to learn another instrument. -Dana: (24) full-time student, taking courses online, studying at home. She enjoys walks, jamming and singing, cooking amazing meals, baking delicious treats, and having meaningful and fun conversations.
