I don’t entertain or have visitors at my house otherwise, or very often, my social scene is out and about. :) Lots of room in this house, and was built in 1967, in a bungalow style. All hard wood upstairs. It has a lovely garden in the Spring, Summer and Fall, lots of flowers, vines, and even A few grape vines. There is a nice seating area in the garden. Or, fire up the BBQ and have a feast. Near by to fast roads like Blackfoot Trail, Macleod trail, and Deerfoot trail, and Glenmore Trail, for fast movement around the city. Downtown is only a 20-30 min by bus. faster if driving. Walk to bus 1 min, 5 min bus ride to LRT Close to several Major Shopping malls. Convenience stores a short walk. 1 km from several supermarkets, stores and restaurants. So walking distance, drive or cycle. Short walk to corner stores and Shoppers Drugmart. Chinook centre 6 minute drive, South Centre, 5 minute drive, and more. - Pubs and restaurants galore, with great patios. Gyms etc. etc. basically 5 of everything in the area. Though I love music, I believe in quiet times too of course, and mutual respect in regards to noise and volume, and respect of sleeping hours. Owner enjoys, Skiing, mountain biking, cycling, hiking, travel and many other activities. Live music, and occasional great conversation. Calgary is known for its amazing bike pathways, and from the house, you can be down to the river pathways in 10 minutes. Heritage park, is only a 10 minute drive away, or bike ride, where there is also the Glenmore Reservoir, more like a natural park that takes 1 hour to cycle around, beautiful at sunset, or any time of the day. Ice creams, cafes and such around the pathway. |
