| **Only females need apply** Single Occupancy only! We live in a townhouse complex of 50 units called the Palisades in the community of Citadel. We have a private furnished basement room available for rent. It is a good-sized bedroom with a 3-piece ensuite bathroom, large closet, large dresser and desk. A TV is available for use if you would like use of one. The remainder of the facilities are shared. In the basement there is a shared fridge/freezer with storage shelves, and treadmill. The main floor includes a sunny living room with a piano, a good-sized kitchen with a large island with seating available and a dining room table. The washing machine and dryer are available in our bathroom ensuite on the second floor. We offer to do your laundry since there are so many stairs, but you are more than welcome to do your own. We can work out a convenient time for both of us. In the warmer months we have a deck with an eating area and BBQ for your use. There is also a small yard with a patio that has a sitting area and lights. Some storage is available outside in the garage at your request. The front has street parking, a bench and a large grass area for playing outdoor games. We are located near a gas station and a 7-eleven with a Tim Hortons for convenience. For those that need public transit the bus stop is a 5-minute walk. It is a 10-minute ride to the C-Train station in Crowfoot. We are surrounded by many different paths, parks, schools, grocery stores, restaurants, stores, banks, library, movie theater and YMCA all within walking distance. We are a family of 3 and a senior dog. My husband is retired, I am semiretired and our adult daughter works full-time. We are always excited to welcome a new person into our home and make it their home away from home. |
