| Furnished room and private bathroom available March 1st (early move in date may be negotiable) in a sunny and spacious shared condo, conveniently located on the western edge of downtown Calgary at 1100 8th Ave SW (Westmount Place). Features include: - 1300 sq ft, fully furnished including the bedroom. - Extensive building amenities (squash court, badminton, fitness gym, swimming pool, games room with billiards table, library, 24 hour concierge, etc) - Ideal location, 1 minute walk to fare free c-train station at Kerby and easy access to the river pathway system for cycling and running. Perfect location for the downtown worker or transit commuter (parking is available at extra cost if needed). - In unit laundry, fully equipped kitchen, utilities are $50 additional per month (internet, electricity, etc). The unit is shared with us, we are a friendly Canadian and Filipina-Canadian couple. We try to maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere at home and some activities we enjoy are cooking, reading, watching tv series and the occasional hockey game, etc. We also make frequent use of the building’s gym facilities, we play badminton and squash, and in the summer months we enjoy the nearby river pathway system, for cycling and running. Potential applicants are asked to reply with a few details about yourself, your working or studying situation, lifestyle, etc. We have previously enjoyed roommates from across Canada and around the world and have hosted roommates in our extra room for the past 10 years. Male/female are welcome, and all cultural and faith backgrounds are welcome. Non-smoking individuals only please and our building is unable to accommodate pets.
